Edited by: Rod Blaine on 20/05/2005 08:34:49 The above poster os being overly negative, as you can expect on these forums these days. People just have no sense of direction anymore here .
Anyway,
There's advanced learning skills, get those and train to lvl 4 if you plan to hang around.
THere's alot of tech2 ingame. Weapons, modules, ships.
There's new tech1 ships: transports. destroyers, battlecruisers.
THere's player owned stations out there (0.3 and below). Read up0 on them in the right forum.
There's specialised EW skills, weapons skills, trade skills, ad soon missile skills.
As far as gameplay is concerned. The lack of ability for us to create content in 0.0 (being adressed atm) has resulted in the annihilation of most 0.0 alliances to the point that 90% of them is doing lvl 4 agent missions in empire (which are teh pwn iskwise btw, bring a Raven). 0.0 space is currently more or less a free fire zone with some small exceptions.
Empire now features a fwe systems that boast the better lvl 4 agents, Don't go there, with 150 in local you tend to lag a bit. CCP is going to move those agents and spread them out to alleviate the issue btw, but later. Aside from that due to those lvl 4 missions the mineral market has dried up at large, with alot of miners doing missions atm. Low end minerals are very expensive atm (tritatium at 3~/per !).
And since all the people decided to go and do missions in empire, the warfare followed them. Meaning there are alot of corporate v alliance and corporate v corpation wars going on there atm, resulting in even more people in the highway systems, just doing pvp instead of pve.
There are some complaints about suicide bombers killing large mining barges (new ships for mining), and about corproations declaring war on other corporations for no apparent reason. So much is true from the above poster, the rest is just like usual.
Oh, and in case noone told ya yet: the CA is gone. _______________________________________________
